The variable speed is controlled via a dial and the constant speed control provides a fine, even finish on all surfaces. Soft start helps to prevent any damage when starting the tool up. It's simple and easy to use, a push button turns the tool on/off and there is also a lock on/off button too. The router/trimmer has an aluminium housing and base for higher durability and accuracy.
